The Placer County Board of Supervisors has delegated responsibility to their Planning Services Division to redraw their district boundaries (redistricting) based upon the 2020 US Census (Census).  The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the dissemination of the Census data nationwide, so the redistricting process will be compressed to be completed around the end of 2021.  Census data will not be made fully available to the County until the end of summer, with a plan to develop a draft map for presentation to the Planning Commission in October and presentation to the Board of Supervisors for adoption in December.  In accordance with our Agency Act, the PCWA Board of Directors' districts are those of the Placer County Board of Supervisors.

Staff from the Placer County Planning Services Division will attend the PCWA Board meeting and present an overview of this topic.
